Dear Parents,

We’re reaching a very critical part of the year, but many students appear to be suffering from “early onset spring fever.” Some symptoms of this student scourge include loss of focus, failure to complete tasks (classwork, as well as homework), apparent failure to study for tests, excessive talkativeness, etc. Please encourage your students to stay focused and do all the tasks assigned to them when in school. Thank you.

Reminders:
NO SCHOOL THIS FRIDAY, FEB. 27. This day was planned into the schedule for inclement weather closing; since there have been no inclement weather days it becomes a school holiday!

5th Grade Writing Assessment is next Wednesday, March 4.

Take-Home folders: Please be sure to sign the Take-Home folders and the cover sheets of all tests it may contain and then make sure your student brings in the signed folders and tests by Friday of each week. Thank you.

CRCT Test Prep info: Please, please make sure that your students are logging on to the Online Assessment site (www.georgiaoas.org) and taking at least one of the Teacher Assigned tests each week. (As of today, only about 5 students have taken any of these tests.)

Wanted: Our class could still use the following items: tissues, paper towels, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, or hand soap.Updating Personal Information: Please make sure to email me any changes in phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses so I can keep my files up to date. In addition, if you have never received an email from me, please send me your email address as soon as possible.

Math tutoring continues on Thursday afternoons, from 3:45-4:45.

Working together for student success...
