Spring Intercession begins next week and I know everyone is looking forward to the break. Remember, students will not return to school until Monday, April 13.
As I told most of you during the conferences, it is critical for students to continue prepare for the upcoming CRCT’s during Intercession as we have such a long break. We’ve tried to make a variety of resources available ~ from the Buckle Down books to the online assessments to various other instructional websites where students can review skills by using tutorials or playing games ~ so please be sure you student takes advantage of these resources.
CRCT Test Prep info: Remember, the school is offering math and reading workshops (from 8-12) during the first two weeks of Intercession (March 23-April 3). The cost of the workshops is $35 per child, per class, per subject. Please call the office if you’re interested and see if space is still available.
Georgia Online Assessment - (www.georgiaoas.org) Please have students log on and take the Teacher Assigned tests. Not only is this is a great way for students to familiar with the content that will be covered, but it can also help familiarize them with the language and format of the tests.
