Dear Parents,

CRCT Math & Reading remediation continues this week, with the focus on Measurement (area, volume, & capacity).

Please remind your students that doing the assigned tasks (whether it is morning work, class work, or homework) is extremely important. Doing the problems assigned is not only helping them learn and review skills necessary for the retest, it can also help them achieve success in areas they may have previously struggled with. Also remind them that MATH ASSIGNMENTS CAN NO LONGER BE TURNED IN LATE.

Reminders:
Take-Home folders go home Monday.

Notes were sent home last week with information about next week’s Fifth Grade Recognition ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. (The organizers have asked that parents be here 15 minutes prior to this so that everyone can be seated before the processional begins.) Girls are to wear white dresses (or white skirts & blouses). Boys are to wear white shirts with black dress pants. Updates will be sent home or emailed, if necessary.

Report Cards: Issues involving pictures, picture money, lunch money, after school bills/fines must all be cleared up in order to received your child’s year-end report card.

As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Working together for student success,
Mrs. Pede
