Parent Notes from Homework Packet
Dear Parents,
Just some quick notes:
Progress Reports were sent home today. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Graded tests/assignments packets were also sent home today. Information about ways to increase test scores is included on the cover sheet, so please remind students to take advantage of these opportunities.
Students also received lists of assignments that have not been turned in. I did not have an efficient way to generate these lists until the grade book program was up and running, so I am giving students an opportunity to complete and turn in missing assignments for partial credit. However, all missing work must be turned in by next Monday, Sept. 8. (At present, no grade has been recorded for the missing assignments. Unfortunately, any assignment not turned in results in an IB grade of 1, which may have a detrimental effect on students’ overall subject grades.) Please remind your students that from this time on, any work not turned in within 2 days of the due date will not be accepted. Points will be deducted for late work.
