Dear Parents,
Take-Home folders: Please remind your students to return their Take-home folders by Friday. (I received only 10 folders by last Friday.) I would also appreciate if you would be sure to sign both the folder and any cover sheets included.
Bud, Not Buddy: Students should have a copy of Bud, Not Buddy for our class novel study. Please let me know if you were unable to obtain a copy.
AAA Spelling: I just learned that I can post our spelling words to the AAA Spelling website. I've posted this week's words. Students can click the link to the right (in Websites of the Week), then click on "Practice" at the top of the website page and practice spelling the words. This site will also allow them to access Wiktionary to find definitions for the words. (Please be aware that the Wiktionary definitions for Wordly Wise words may not be identical to the ones in the WW book.)
Wanted: Our class could still use the following items: tissues, paper towels, Clorox wipes, hand sanitizer, or hand soap (as they are no longer providing it in the restrooms ~ because students were emptying full soap containers on the floors, as well for budgetary reasons).
CRCT Test Prep info: Please make sure that your students are logging on to the Online Assessment site (www.georgiaoas.org) and taking at least one of the Teacher Assigned tests each week.
Updating Personal Information: Please make sure to email me any changes in phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses so I can keep my files up to date. In addition, if you have never received an email from me, please send me your email address as soon as possible.
There will be no math tutoring this Thursday (Feb. 12) as I will be in Jekyll. Math tutoring will resume next Thursday, Feb. 19.
Working together for student success,
Mrs. Pede
