Special Education Fundraiser

Parents,

IIAM's Special Education Department is having a Family Skate fundraiser at Cascade Family Skating Rink tomorrow evening, May 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

At the door, the students need to say they are supporting the IIAM fundraiser and they need to report between 6-8 for us to get the credit. (However, families can continue to skate until 11:00 p.m.)

Rescheduled assessments ~

The science and math vocabulary assessments have been rescheduled for Friday, May 8 because of tomorrow's field trip.

Sunday, May 3, 2009

Dear Parents,

Sunday, May 3, 2009

Take-Home folders, with Missing Assignment Lists, are being sent home today. Please be sure to look over your student’s tests and other work, and return the signed folders by Friday.

Many students are continuing to have issues completing and turning in their work on time. While I accept late work and allow students to make-up missed assignments, many middle school teachers I know do not. In an effort to help prepare them in the event they have teachers who don’t take late work or allow make-ups, students must complete any make-up work by the due dates given on the Missing Assignments lists. Make-up work will not be accepted after the dates listed.

As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Working together for student success,

Mrs. Pede
