CRCT Bowl Winners, Report Card Updates & Other Notes

First, congratulations to Keyan Lauderdale, Meredith Marquez, and Nia Napon for winning the 5th Grade Social Studies CRCT Bowl and representing our class so wonderfully.

Now, for the notes...

1. We are having a CRCT Pep Rally on Friday and the children will be outside for a couple of hours, so the school would appreciate donations of cases of water, 100% juice boxes, fruit snacks, or chips to keep the students nourished and hydrated. Please send the above items by 10:00 AM on Friday, if you are able to contribute any of these items.

2. The school is postponing the delivery of report cards until next Friday (April 24), due to next week's CRCT testing.

Also, this Thurday's math tutoring is being cancelled as they have scheduled a staff meeting for that time.

Thank you.

Dear Parents,

Dear Parents,

I hope everyone had an enjoyable break and that the students are ready to get back to their studies. As you know, CRCT testing begins next week, so we spending most of our time reviewing and working on the activities planned for this week’s CRCT Pep / Prep week.

Let’s continue working together to help our students do the best they can on the upcoming tests.

Students can access practice tests at the following sites:

Georgia Online Assessment - (www.georgiaoas.org) Please have students log on and take the Teacher Assigned tests. Not only is this is a great way for students to familiar with the content that will be covered, but it can also help familiarize them with the language and format of the tests.

Printable CRCT practice tests are also available at http://www.wcbritt.org/2008CRCT/crcttests.htm, http://www.rabun.k12.ga.us/staff/rhenson/CRCTPractice.html, and http://apskids.org/gideons/CRCT%20Practice%20Tests.htm,

As you know, students received their login IDs and passwords for mytestbook.com so they can take practice tests at this site also.
