1. Spelling/Vocabulary: Use syllabication (breaking the sentence into syllables) to create 3 spelling pyramids for the Wordly Wise 6 words and study for your spelling test. (Remember, you must also know definitions.)
2. Math: Please omit tonight's math homework as listed on the Homework packet. (I forgot I would not be at school Thursday to show students how to do the problems.)
3. Language Arts: Complete second revision of persuasive essay.
4. Social Studies: Complete the “Before…” and “After You Read” tasks for Summary: Compromise and Conflict.
5. Reading: Think about and review the characters and events in Maniac Magee as you prepare to create your “one-pager”, which will be due on Monday, Sept. 15.
