Parents, as you are well aware by now, your student has received his or her Wordly Wise book. As I mentioned in this week's letter, the focus for ""Spelling/Vocabulary" is shifting to vocabulary, and the Wordly Wise books are formatted to help students build their vocabulary. Because students were able to receive their books today, we've made changes to this week's Vocabulary/Spelling homework. This week's homework on the blog has been adjusted to incorporate these changes.
In the event that you child did not receive or bring home the pink note about these books, please be aware that all of the Vocabulary assignments for the remainder of this quarter and for part of the 3rd quarter are in these books. It is the student's responsibility to bring these books to class each day. Lost books cannot be replaced by the school. However, in the event your student loses his or her book, you can purchase replacement books at the School Box for $10.50.
