Monday ~ Nov. 10
1. Vocabulary/ Spelling: Complete Wordly Wise 12A: Finding Meanings and Wordly Wise 12B: Just the Right Word. B. Write sentences using 5 of your spelling words in a way that show you understand the meanings of the words. Circle the subject & underline the predicate.
2. Math: Measure the length and width of your bedroom and one other room in your home, and then determine their perimeters.
3. Language Arts: Complete Prefixes Worksheet if necessary. B. Complete the final draft of your Witnessing History narrative essay about last week’s historic election.
4. Science: Complete Learning About Classification.
5. Reading: Read for twenty minutes and complete Home Reading Log.
6. Complete Self-Start #414: Day One, if necessary.


Tuesday ~ Nov. 11
1. Vocabulary/ Spelling: Complete Wordly Wise 12C: Applying Meanings and 12D: Word Study. B. Write sentences using 5 of your spelling words in a way that show you understand the meanings of the words. Circle the subject of the sentence and underline the predicate.
2. Math: Complete Reteach 16.1: Perimeter.
3. Language Arts: Complete Adding –est and The Suffix –y Practice sheets if necessary. B. Revise and rewrite final draft of your personal narrative about witnessing history. 4. Science: Complete A System of Organization wordsearch.
5. Reading: Read for twenty minutes and complete Home Reading Log.
6. Complete Self-Start #414: Day Two, if necessary.

Wednesday ~ Nov. 12
1. Vocabulary/ Spelling: Read Wordly Wise 12E: A Child of the Revolution and answer the questions. (Remember to write complete sentence answers and use one spelling word for each answer.) B. Write sentences using the last 5 of your spelling words in a way that show you understand the meanings of the words. Circle the subject of the sentence and underline the predicate.
2. Math/Science: Answer The Diversity of Life problems 1-5. B. Draw and label 3 polygons and determine their perimeters.
3. Language Arts: Review prefixes and suffixes for test tomorrow. B. Complete prewrite of your narrative essay about "The Best Day Ever!"
4. Reading:
Read for twenty minutes and complete Home Reading Log.
5. Complete Self-Start #414: Day Three, if necessary.


Thursday ~ Nov. 13
1. Vocabulary/ Spelling: Use syllabication to create 3 spelling pyramids for this week’s words and study for your vocabulary - spelling tests. (KNOW the definitions and how they are used!)
2. Math/Science: Answer Plant Reproduction problems 1-3. B. Review this week’s math vocabulary (polygon, regular polygon, length, width, perimeter, linear measurement, etc.) and think up some problems that would require someone to determine perimeter.
4. Reading: Read for twenty minutes and complete Home Reading Log.
5. Complete Self-Start #414: Day Four, if necessary.

Weekend ~ Nov. 14-16
Reading: Read for twenty minutes and complete Home Reading Log.
Math: Scott Foresman page: Complete problems 1-6 for finding area.
